To activate the speaker phone
Turn phone to Silence All
(press and hold "*" [star] two times, until silent)
record a voice memo
(can be silence and dosnt matter how long it is)
go to send a pic message, and attach the voice
memo to the pic...
send it to anyone (yourself will work too)
before the message sends, press "end" to cancel the message.
(this will put it in your outbox)
go to your outbox, and open the canceled message... Press
Options, and
save the music (voice memo)
(this will put it in your music folder, in your Media section)
now... Go to My media, and then Music... Then
scroll until you find that saved memo...
Highlight the memo and press "Ok" (this will not do anything)
now
press "end" to get back to nomal screen...
now... Press and hold "*" until it goes back to normal
mode.
Make a call, and press any button while its ringing, and
it will become very loud... Speaker Phone is now enabled.
Its not exactly hacking, its more of a glitch that
they were initally going to put on the phone, but decided not to.
It works... When you dont want it to be on speaker anymore
just press any button while on call.
**************************************************
It will go back to normal after that call... And wont work again
until you:
Press and hold "*" 2 times until phone is on silence all.
Go to my media, and highlight any saved voice memo
Press "Ok"
Press "end" to go back to main screen
Press and hold "*" until back to normal
Now its reactivated...
I have to do this every time, but now that
ive recorded the memo, It only takes a few
seconds before each call... I try to do it
after each call, so that its ready when someone
call me.

Hey,
I had the same problem but I found a way to fix it, but I dunno if it is good for the phone.
This is what I do:
--After I finished the call I was on speaker phone with I pulled out
the battery and left it out for a few seconds, popped that ****
back in, booted up the phone and it was all good.
I know it seems like it would take too long but it only takes a few seconds. After you get used to it you could do everything with one hand (I can do it while driving).
Hope that works for you,
Tazz.
P.S. I am running the version number with 5 at the end.

all u have to do to deactivate speakerphone is go into your music folder in the media folder and listen to a regular ringtone in "normal mode"... that deactivates the speaker... then repeat all the steps above to go into speakerfone again... really inconvenient... hope the 8000 has speakerfone built in...
