How do i purchase a SIM card for GSM spy device?

I bought a gsm sim card spy device at a yard sale but it has no instructions. I need an activated sim card for it but ive watched countless tutorials on the said devices but they alwalways seem to leave out the part on how to acquire the sim card without buying the phone and all the trimmings that go with it. So how do i buy one without the phone?

Sounds like you'll have to get a pre-paid sim and just pop it in. You can just order one from Straight Talk or Net10.

I think a new pre-pain sim will take some time to be activated..

Where are you located? you can get free sim cards here in UK from all providers . Is this not the same everywhere? If you're in the US then you can pay $9.99 to buy one from most of the big networks if you go into a mobile providers store. Or try Ebay - its is a good place to look
