Seems like a lot of members have tried some of these and were either disappointed with the promised performance or, worse, screwed up their existing databases. I'm not in hurry to jump into this without seeing some success stories.

I think I saw some references to My Lync Advanced - anybody use it with success? How about My Lync Desktop - got any info on when it will be out?

    Thanks.
I tried MyLink Advanced. It worked, but has some limitations that I was not comfortable with. I have been using CompanionLink and really like it. When you set it up, if you do not check for it to sync with the Android apps on the phone, it syncs with Outlook with no problems. (If you do tell it to sync with the phone apps you are likely to get duplications and other mess).

Re: Motorola Droid Sync with outlook?

I solved the problem of not being able to sync my droid razr maxx with my Outlook email by doing this:
    1. Log into Outlook on the computer where the Outlook resides that you want to sync with.
    2. Open the 'Tools' menu and select 'Connect devices and apps with POP'
    3. Choose the 'Enable' radio button.
Voila, my Outlook email now syncs with my droid.
    NO EXTRA SOFTWARE!!!
