The new Google Maps Navigation is pretty neat, but there's a few things that would be worth adding to the beta.
- There is no way to 'avoid highways' - 'use highways' that I can easily find
- "Recently navigated to" - Currently if you select the end point field you will get a drop down of the previously searched for destinations - I wouldn't mind seeing a dedicated page for this.
- Adding addresses to contacts - there's a way to associate an address with a contact but this has to be added to the contact prior to going into the navigation app. I wish there was a way to add an address to a contact after entering it into Navigation
- Street View Accessibility - Google made it a little confusing to get to the street view of a turn. Currently you have to go into the directions and then click the icon to view the street view image. Understandibly, there is another icon to move the street view around (the initial image is static and cached). They should make getting to the street view more accessible.
