Which Droid to get? Moto or Eris?

Get the Motorola Droid, and here's why:

The Motorola Droid is a more open device. Yes, they both have an Android operating system and both operate magnificently but the Motorola Droid takes the cake for what's actually inside it. The Motorola Droid has the Android 2.0 OS while the HTC Droid Eris only has a 1.5 OS.

In addition to that, the Eris uses Qualcomm's standard operating system for PDA like devices: MSM7600™ Processor, 528MHz. The Motorola Droid uses a fancier operating system not put out by Qualcomm: OMAP3430 — 550MHz.

The Motorola Droid also has the QWERTY keyboard which makes it extremely nice. Also, you don't even notice the keyboard exists until it slides out...it's just that thin.

The Motorola Droid includes a 16GB memory card while the Eris DOES NOT. Instead, the Eris comes with a 8GB memory card.

The Motorola Droid; however, is $100 more expensive than the Eris.

I would take the Moto Droid over the Eris. The Eris almost feels too small in my hands and it's just harder to type on.
