Droid Pic Directory?

Another question about pics.

So I see the DCIM folder. Do I put the pics in the camera folder within there? Can I put a folder in there or must I put all of the pics in there.

How do I get pics to open in the gallery? I've taken a handful of pics with the phone but nothing shows up in the Gallery. Says no media found.

you should just be able to put them in the DCIM folder. Are you sure you put the microSD card back in the right way? I managed to put mine in upside down once. (I'm surprised it lets you do it actually, I noted that in my review)

I didn't take the card out yet so...

Just copying pics from my last phone. Copied the folder into the DCIM folder. They're now showing up in Gallery.
