Ok, after working with my Droid for almost a week, I love it and find things I like about it everyday, however, I do have a list of my complaints (most of them are minor thank goodness):

-Copy/Paste--Unless I'm missing something, copy/paste isn't supported everywhere. Why do we not have it everywhere? Remember how long it took Apple to add it to the iPhone? Remember how much flack they took?
-Top keys on keyboard are too close to screen--they need some more space where the screen slides up.
-Camera app sucks---no other way to put it. This is one of the most horrible pieces of software I've ever used. Sloooooooooowww, not responsive at all, etc. Basically, almost useless. Let's hope they fix it in the Dec. 11 update or someone else writes a better version.
-Multi-touch-really not sure why they didn't include this. Only found it to work in PicSay so I'm hopeful others will implement it.
-Contacts-when you're typing in a contact name to find it, sometimes it seems to tigger what you're typing off the first name, sometimes the last name and sometimes both. A little confusing at times.
-Contacts-when you go into Contacts and open the keyboard, it remembers the last letters you typed in when looking for a new contact. Annoying since I'm not usually looking for the same contact over and over again. Should clear that info once you go into a contact.
-Power connection-in a bad spot if you want to plug it in while driving and lay it down in landscape mode for navigation. Should be on either the top or the bottom, not on the side.
-Navigation thingie on right side of keyboard-still not sure why they wasted the space with this thing. I rarely use it. They shouldn't have included this.
-Keyboard buttons--I know they were going after a slimmer phone, however, the keyboard keys are not the easiest to use because they aren't raised at all. Still not able to type nearly as fast on this as I was able to on my enV2.

Almost all of these complaints are very minor. Not like I'm ready to throw the phone against the wall or anything but they really do need to fix the horrible horrible horrible camera app. This is inexcusable since they're touting the phone in their ads. I do love my Droid though. Just hope these things get fixed soon.

I pretty much found the same things. Luckily some things, like the camera, can be fixed with software updates.

Yes, I'm just glad almost all of the complaints I have (minor complaints really) can be fixed with software. I really really really hope someone fixes/writes a better camera app. I'm anxious to see what they fix in the Dec. 11 update in the camera app. I know they're doing something with it.

I do love the phone though.

Re: What complaints do you have so far?

I think the one complaint I have that wasnt mentioned already is the fact that I have to 'mount' and 'un mount' my SD card whenever I want to transfer files and then have access to said files. A friend of mine said he has to do the same for his BlackBerry. I am guessing maybe all but Windows Mobile phones have to go through this? It's not terrible but it's something that I havnt had to deal with before.

As far as the physical keyboard is concerned, I agree with the keys being rather 'flat', but I think they are still fine. I dont find the top row to be too close to the screen. It does take getting used to because the orientation of the board is offset to accomodate the D-pad. I do like the D-pad though. You have direction functions and 'select' all in one square.

Lastly, I think the USB port is located where it is for use with the physical keyboard in mind. If I am using using the keyboard while plugged in, I certainly dont want the cable to be in the way of either of my hands. Plus I have the windshield mount for navigation so the USB port location is still just fine.

The mount/unmount thing doesn't really bother me. If you mount the phone, then just unplug it, you get one of those messages saying you didn't do it correctly. If I don't mount it, I get no message.

I'm sure that's why the USB port is there. Just wish they could do with smaller/better cables on these things...

I agree with the USB connector. It's in a bad spot and it's not as solid a connection as it could be. I have found that the battery drains faster if you turn the phone "off" that is you leave it on overnight. Silly me here I was thinking that turning off the phone would conserve battery life.

The connectors on these phones has always been a weak spot (imo). It really sucks because, by the time it finally stops working properly, you're out of warranty and out of luck...

For stills, it's actually better than I've read. As with any camera phone, good lighting is key. The flash works but it's not going to take awesome flash pics--and it slows down the camera.

The video is actually decent. Here's one I took yesterday...

Re: What complaints do you have so far?

Everytime I make a phone call, or send a text, it seems to open up about 15 different apps. I try and turn them off everytime, but sometimes I forget. I wish it would only open up the one you turn on.

Also, I wish you could scroll through a favorite list or even your contact list, when your trying to forward a text to multiple people. I liked being able to just scroll through my list, and puting a check by the people I wanted to forward it to.

I haven't been able to find a reminder for missed calls either. The green light flashes if I miss a text, or get a voicemail, but if it's just a missed call, I don't get it, unless I turn the phone on, and check.

The things I love about this phone way outnumber the little things I wish it had.
