I've noticed the screen has a tendancy to dim for no reason . I don't mean turns off just dims for no reason then gets bright again for no reason if I'm lucky. Any ideas on this?

Re: Screen dimming
why would it change brightness automatically? does it have a light sensor?

Re: Screen dimming
I noticed mine will dim and then return to the brighter setting. I do have my settings on automatic. Before, I did have it on manual and I dont recall my phone dimming like it does now.
I do wonder though, if some processes depend on the accelerometer while other processes rely on the more typical feedback (or lack thereof) to dim and brighten the screen.

Re: Screen dimming
It has fixed the problem and no problems (so far).
Thanks.

Re: Screen dimming
Yes, it has a light sensor. Automatic mode is intended to help improve battery life by dimming the screen when full brightness is not required. This feature can be turn off as mentioned above, or by using the power control widget.
