News: Motorola Droid 2 specs and update

Upon the unveiling of the Verizon Motorola Droid 2, pictures of the handset show that the Android handset has a sliding QWERTY keyboard as that of the original Motorola Droid. The difference between the keyboard of the original Droid and Droid 2 is that the Motorola Droid 2 pad does not contain a directional pad and looks more user friendly. You will not find a front facing camera on the Motorola Droid 2.

The Motorola Droid 2 will have Android 2.1 and may possibly be Android 2.2 once launched and will use MotoBlur UI. A list of specs and features are below:

* 3.7 inch touchscreen display
* Wi-Fi (with tethering)
* 5MP autofocus camera with flash
* 750MHz TI OMAP processor
* 8GB of internal memory
* 8GB MicroSD card preinstalled
