Big time spacebar trouble

idk how exactly to explain this, basically what is happening is while my phone is on all it is doing is spacebar non stop so when i try and text

or it just fills up with blank space

and when i am at home screen it brings up search and fills every thing with space

any solutions? thanks in advance

has the phone recently gotten wet? It sounds like there's something triggering the space bar. Maybe dirt?
