I'm quite disappointed with how the MOTOROKR S305 Bluetooth connection with the DROID keeps dropping during a conversation. The darn thing disconnected in a few seconds and left me talking to dead air. Then all of a sudden it connected while I was talking into the DROID leaving me talking to dead air again.

During the same conversation I decided to walk outside far away from any potential interference like my Linksys E3000 wireless router. The S305 dropped again after a couple minutes so that rules out interference. My guess is the Motorola S305 is at fault because the DROID has a stable Bluetooth connection to Sync in my car.

Yes I keep the S305 charged, thank you, and the distance was less then 6 feet away. Any other thoughts on this issue?

hrm, I never had any issues with the bluetooth on my droid - I'm going to guess that there is something wrong with the S305. The only way to troubleshoot is to try different bluetooth devices with your phone. If they have the same problem than it's the phone, if they don't, it's the headset.

Tavenger5, thanks for the reply. As I stated the DROID has a stable connection to Sync in my Ford so it appears the S305 headset has this problem. I've studied this some more and have realized the S305 won't drop the connection if it's always plugged into the charger prior to use. That's something I don't like to do because a rechargeable battery needs to be exercised.

I wouldn't definitely try and exchange the headset - sounds like it may have a battery problem.
