This procedure should only be used if you rooted your Motorola Droid Razr with the ZERGRUSH method (find it here). If you used an alternative method to root, you may brick your Motorola RAZR if you use this method in attempting to unroot. AGAIN: DO NOT USE THIS PROCEDURE IF YOU DID NOT USE THIS TUTORIAL TO ROOT YOUR PHONE.
What You Need:
- The ZERGRUSH Unroot Files (download here)
Connect Your Phone
Using your phone, navigate to 'Settings > Applications > Development and ensure that the 'USB Debugging' option is selected. Connect the Droid Razr to the PC via USB cable and select 'Charge Only' as the USB connection type. Now, open a command prompt on your PC and type 'adb devices' (exclude the 's). An option should appear in the command prompt listing the Droid Razr. If it does not show up, then the ADB package is not configured correctly.
Unroot the Phone
Unzip the Unroot files you just downloaded from above. Double-click the 'runme-UNROOT.bat' file. Once completed, your device will reboot and upon startup should no longer have root access. To verify that the process worked, check for the SuperUser application; if it is gone, then the phone has been successfully unrooted.
