This guide will lead you through the basic steps to customize your Motorola Droid RAZR M.

Organize Your Phone Using Folders and Pages

1. On the home screen, swipe left until you see Add a page.
2. Now tap on Blank page or tap Start with a template if you want to use preset shortcuts and widgets.

If you want to delete or add items to the new page, you have to:

1. On the home screen, tap the Apps key.
2. Go to APPS or WIDGETS tab. Next, tap and hold the widget or app you want to use and when you see a new icon, drag it to an empty spot on the new page.
3. If you want to remove an item from the page you’ve created, touch and hold the icon and then drag it to the X Remove.

Note: This will only delete the shortcut you’ve created, not the app or widget itself.

If you want to organize your folders:

1. Touch and hold a shortcut, drag it into another and when you see a blue circle forming around them, release the shortcut.
2. If you want to add more apps there, simply drag them onto the circle.
3. If you want to rename the folder you have to tap the folder to open it -> tap and hold the default folder name and then write the desired new name.
4. If you want to remove an app from the folder, touch and hold it and then drag it out of the circle.

If you want to manage your pages:

1. Tap the Home key to return to your home screen.
2. Tap the Home key again to manage pages, or simply swipe left across the home screens until you see Manage pages.
3. You can swipe left or right across the thumbnail pages to see your current set-up.
4. In order to delete a page you need to tap and hold it and then drag it to X Remove.
5. If you want to rearrange a page, simply drag it to a new spot.
6. To add a new page, tap the + sign.

If you want to add widgets to your home screen:

1. Tap the Apps key -> WIDGETS tab.
2. Now scroll through the list of widgets that you have.
3. Tap and hold the desired widget to add it.

Note: in order to install a working widget, make sure you are on the WIDGETS tab and not the APPS tab.

In order to remove a widget from the home screen you have to:

1. Tap and hold the widget until it starts to vibrate.
2. Now drag it to the X Remove, which should be located on the upper part of the screen. This will only delete the shortcut, not the widget itself.

Change your wallpaper

1. Tap and hold a blank spot on your home screen.
2. Tap Live wallpapers, Gallery, or Wallpapers and choose the desired wallpaper.

Note: When using a picture from the Gallery, you will be able to crop and adjust the image. Next, tap Save to set the gallery image as wallpaper.

3. Tap Set wallpaper to finish.

Change your Favorites

At the bottom of the home screen you have access to your most used apps and you can customize or remove these apps to meet your personal preferences. The only icon that you can’t remove is the Apps, which is located in the middle.

To change your Favorites tray:

1. Tap and hold one of the icons and drag it to X remove.
2. Next, tap the Apps key and go to APPS tab.
3. Now tap and hold the desired app and once the icon appears, drag it to the empty spot in the Favorites tray.
4. Repeat for all desired apps.

Congratulations, you have now made the first steps to customize your Motorola Droid RAZR M.
