Transferring files to RAZR

I have searched for help on this, and all I can find are 1001 threads and sites for hacking the phone, or help for people who dont understand bluetooth and how to pair devices. Apparently, I'm the only person who knows how to pair, but not transfer. All I want to do is send files (pics, ringtones) over bluetooth. I can pair the phone to my PC fine, and I get to where I am actually sending the file, but the progress bar never moves.

Is it actually possible to send files just be right-clicking and choosing
sendto-->bluetooth device, or do I need to use an app like midway or something just to get the files on there.

If so, can someone please suggest the best one, not necessarily for hacking, but the one that will allow me to send everything (games, ringtones, pics) with the least amount of hassle. I seriously dont wanna be bilked out of another $50 by Motorola just to buy their phonetools.

You will need midway to send games and motorola phone tools to send pics and ringers. Both files are in my sticky

if you have a cable you can actually send games muchj easier with P2KTools_v0.7.1.9. You can also do an OBEX push using the bluetooth places icon on your desktop or startup menu to transfer pics and tones if you dont have MPT. You can find several places to d/l MPT if you google it or search limewire.

Cool. Thanx alot. Downloading MPT now. I'll get to Midway later. I dont care as much about the games as I do the pics and rings. Thanx again.

if you get a data cable, use p2k for your games. You don't have to enable java app loader and your phone and its much easier.

the MPT will fix your bluetooth transfer problems, but you may have to remove the bt dongle and start fresh. You might want to go the BVRP web page for setup help, it can be a pain sometimes.
