Black RAZR Timeout issue

no prob. thats not really a seem edit though since dont have to use a hex editor. Thought it may be easier for the poor guy who said it was kinda complex.

I dont see why the black would be any different from the silver except for the sw versions.

It's not that I don't want to learn seem editing; I just want to know the best possible route to getting the phone to a 60-sec backlight without damaging the phone which, given my level of experience (none) is a very possible scenario. And it's not that I don't want to do a search; I did, and I got this forum, among others. Thanks for the link; there's a lot of very informative stuff on that forum and I'll check it out.

I did some other checking. There is also an option in p2ktools to set it to always on. It's nothing more than clicking the option so it's easier than the other option. It says the extra features are mostly for Vxxx phones but the store sms to sim worked for my v3 so it's worth a shot. It doesn't help you guys get it up to 60 seconds but I haven't found a way to do it besides the seems. P2ktools does offer another easy option for seems though. Good luck.
