damn thats tight, I thought it was *video playback* only. Thats what I see on ebay with the unlocked versions. Did you get a special special one?

Quite possibly, but I do have to admit, the video capture isn't all that great. The quality is a major letdown. But then agian, it's just a cell phone, and you see how thin it is? Well, it's cool to know I might be the only one(Sarcasm) in the world with this "special" v3!

yes you can flash the silver ones. No mine is not special. I bought it from Cingular back in november. It now has video as well as more memory and multiple letter address book searching. My video quality is actually pretty good, but your right it is just a cell phone. Even thought mine thinks it's and mp3 player! lol

so I could flash my silver one? I could play mp3s too, but it onlt holds like 2 full mp3 tracks and its full so I didnt do it.
How hard is it to flash it. I know the scene so hopefully it will be easy as flashing a dvd writer.

you may need to flash, you need to flash and flex, you may need to only do seem edits. You need to check your phone, see what sw versions it has so you will know what you need to do.

you need to check s/w version, flex version and bl version. Also make a note of what LP you have.

flashing is a breeze and does not affect the settings on your phone. post your versions and i'll let ya know.

I just flashed to c3r_a and I now have 10m of memory.

How'd you get it to hold 2 full mp3's? I tried sending it through my phone via MPT, but it doesn't accept..

one of them is like 1 min while other is like 2 1/2. How do I find out this sw version etc.

i found the s/w version on the back which is 0E.40.57R._A1 is this a good one?

I think im almost ready to flash my new phone. THing is, I got manufacturer warranty for a year and Im sure this hack will void the warranty, should I go for it anyways?
