v3 razr video record

hi, im ordering my phone from ebay, and want to give it the capability of video recording, i know you can get the firmware from www.motox.us, but can someone tell me wich one and give me a tutorial on how to install it, i would greatly apreaciate it, thank you.

well im with at&t, but cingular merged with AT&T and if i want to buy the razr from the store then it is 300$ since i already have a contract and just want a new phone, so on ebay i found a few phones that are slightly used and unlocked so i can just pop my sim card in and go, for around 260$ and then i was planning on putting video record on it, but if you know where i can get a better deal......

i have a black razr (tmobile) and it does NOT have video recording...

i believe you need to update the software in order to enable video recording.

I'm using T-Mobile and I have video recording. But it only records like 10sec then it stops and asks me if i want to save/discard. Is 10sec normal?

I am using an unlocked RAZR on T-Mobile service, my phone not flashed at all, and my phone was manufactured in Singapore.

My retailer told me that T-mobile phone are newer and have the video capability. But I have heard that some cingular black ones also have the capability.

I asked T-mobile if they could upgrade my phone software to allow video capture. They said since the phone is new to them, they dont know how to do it now, but to check back in a month or two.

Mines is 30 sec. Anyone know how to change it so that it is unlimited w/o flashing the phone?

I can record over a minute and 30 seconds worth with my silver one! :-)

I finally was able to flash my phone using R374_G_0E.41.C3R_A_reflash.shx

My total space increased from about 5 MB to 6993 Kb. So that is good.

I dont see any change in the menus. However for contact names, I changed the method from Jump to search. Now I can search by two letters, but the phone insists on prompting me or suggesting the second letter when I type the first. So much scrolling to select the letters.

But I still dont see any way to record videos. Can someone help me how to record video or setup for video recording?
