How can I buy a Motorola Razr V3 phone cheap (not from my plan store for $269) for my daughter and make sure it works under our existing Cellurar One plan in New York? All this computer and phone stuff is new to me.

You're best would be check out a local buy and sell, or have a look on ebay!

You might want to consider switching to cingular. With cingular you can buy a phone from wirefly.com and it will be free. It will also come with a bluetooth headset.

In Canada, the Razr is dowwn to $99 on a 3 year plan, $249 without a plan, and those are Canadian prices!

he may have one amazing plan., or just is locked in with his family plan, and doesn't want to start up another one., cancel the current one.
Unless you're buying from a reputable (high sales #) ebayer, dont' go there. Local buyers., or local buy & sells. For sure! There are plenty if buy & sellers. www.howardforums.com for one. Here also actually.
You Americains always get amazing plans and specials, and insane 1500 Whenever minutes....lol...For us 350 is the biggest main-stream plan you can get. Of course special plans much higher are available...but still the highest I've ever heard is 700mins.
- 11-26-2005, 11:52 PM #6For that you would either have to buy a Cellualr One branded Razr or buy an unlocked one that will work with any GSM carrier so either way you will not find one for such a cheap price unless you do a phone upgrade which means renewing your contract........

best place I find is amazon.com.
Razr is free or almost free with new line activation, and you have choice of t-mobile or cingular. The rebate does not apply if you want to keep your line/number and only get a new phone.
Shipping is also free if you can wait a few days for the phone to arrive.
