    Hi all

I got the RAZR V3 in black for christmas.
I think the phone is great, but i don't like the address book to much.
My last phone was the Siemens s65 and before that the nokia 7650.
Now with these 2 phones i could have the contact name and set as many numbers to that name as i wanted. all i had to do was click the name to open it and then the list of numbers was displayed then i just select the number i want.
I can't seem to do this with the RAZR, or i have not found the way to do it.
Instead i have for example if Fred Blogs has 3 numbers, i get his name in my address book 3 times.
But this makes for a lot of scrolling.
All contacts have been stored to the phone memory and the numbers have the Home, Mobile, Work icons set to them etc...

so is it possible for me to have X amount of numbers stored under one name.

    Also

It looks like i can only select the first letter of a name with the keypad to jump to that name eg.. pressing K will take me to the start of all the names beginning with K. with my older phones i could carry on adding letters to narrow it down a bit. As i live in Germany i have a lot of K's in my address book, so i still need to scroll alot to find the name i want, can this be changed somehow?

    Thanks for your time

    Tony

Ok i have sorted this now.

Go into your phonebook and press the menu button, go to setup
    Set to this:
    View by: List
    Sort by: Name
    View: Primary Contact
