What ways is there to unlock a cell phone? For the Razr I know you can flash the phone and update the firmware. What could go wrong when doing this? Has anyone had luck doing this to their RAZR? Thanks

You can also use Opcodes to unlock it. As far as flashing/flexing goes, it can be risky business if you aren't experienced at it. Personally, I have never attempted to flash or flex any of my phones, for fear of turning them into expensive paperweights...

What is Opcodes? How would I get my hands on them? Is this have something to do with my IMIE and the providers unlock subsidy? Thanks for the advise I definitly would not like my RAZR to be a paperweight....LOL
