Can anybody help me with a nagging issue? Just got a new RAZR, shot some video with it, and have attemped to send it to my home e-mail with NO success.

I get an "Unable to Send" message. When I do a "Check Message Status", it gives a "video/3gpp2 not allowed".

    What's up with that?!? Help!

does it say this on the phone or pc?
    Can you hear me now?
    Lois: You're drunk again.
Peter: No, I'm just exhausted 'cause I've been up all night drinking.

I have an older computer that is not Bluetooth-enabled, so that option won't work for me.

well...as long as the PC has a USB port., you can invest in a BT dongle.

Are you choosing EMAIL MESSAGE, to send the video?

yes, could be that the video surpasses US Cellular's cap restriction size.
no, MMS may not go to email messages? only cellular #'s

Check with US Cellular. Their network may not have the ability to send video over the network. Are you able to send it to other US Cellular subscribers? Do you have an MMS (Picture Messaging) package on your account?

If you only have regular text messaging on your account then that's why it's not working.

I transfer video files from my V3c to my computer all the time using MPT and a USB cable. I can only imagine the same would work for the regular V3.

Re: Send Video from RAZR to home e-mail

my phone also does that, my boyfriend is training for the army in another state, and we started sending videos to each other, we both have U.S. Cellular, we each sent each other about seven videos each to each other but when i tried to send him a video yesterday it would go to 100% but it wouldn't send, saying in the outbox "error: cannot send video/3pp2 not allowed" why is that anyone know, for sure, i can send picture txts just fine, just all of a sudden not videos!!!
