Black RAZR v3

Hey whats up.

I have a factory unlocked black razr v3 which is set up for cingular web settings (They told me this)


Anyway, I make my own ringtones and have a USB cable to put them on my phone, works awesome.

I send ringtones to friends though, and I used to have a method to send them to other cingular customers, but my one friend has verizon.

With my old phone I would just send an MMS with the file in it. But with the RAZR I can't send MMS for some reason.


I just called and got my phone registered and the little symbol thing popped up (never was there before) but I still can't send MMS.


Any suggestions? Or another way to get my files to a Verizon customer?


I also can't use the internet, tells me to try again later.

Note: I have an A T&T sim card, I am unsure if that matters, but my old phone (which was provided for me) was branded with cingular stuff and when I hit the browser button it showed a cingular sign. Thats why I assume I need those settings

What carrier do you use? install that one.

Does anyone have any better ways to get ringtones on a verizon phone though?

Another way is to Send the ringer as an email attatchment from your computer to your phone's email address. It will show up as an MMS, and you can assign it where you want it.
