how to can I free my razr for use around the world

I have T-mobile as provider.

I got the phone from t-mobile it is locked
I tried using smartclip but I get smart-clip not found
how can I solve this problem, can you help me please I'm not that knowledgable in this area. I just want to use the phone anywhere in the world I go.

Well since this is a T-mobile phone, you call T-mobile and tell them you need the Subsidy Code, to allow you to use the phone in Europe while you are on vacation or business, so you can use local prepaid SIMs while there.

Cost? Nothing. Well it costs the time it takes to call customer service.

I asked t-mobile for the code and it will take 3 to 4 weeks and they do not guarantee to get it and I have to ask again if I do no hear from them in 4 weeks.
