Mp3 quality on Razr

I transfer mp3's though MPT to my razr. The sound quality is horrible! Are there any settings in can mess around with the make the quality better? What do the settings need to be on for good quality?

First off, are the mp3's okay sounding on your pc? If yes, then it's probably the software your using. I read somewhere that one motorola transfer kit reduced the quality of the song to 32kbps. The average is 128kbps (kbps = bitrate). On my C975, you can check the songs bitrate in the "details" section. My only reccomendation is to try some different software. I don't know any as I've never had to change, as Mototools seems to do the job fine for me. I can pretty much guarantee getting one off a search engine, but you'll have to look hard.
