My V3 black cell phone has
broken into two pieces.
The black part in the middle, which connects
the lower and upper part of the phone,
has broken off (my cellphone actually
came out of my bag and rolled off down the stairs)
The monitor part and lower part where the dials are
are actually separated right now. The
wires or golden strips that were inside
the broken middle piece(i'm guessing they're the
wires that connect the upper and lower part)
are cut off.
I've went to two stores today
and they told me to buy a new one....
just can't afford to buy a new one and besides..
I just loved this phone... does anyone know
if and how I could get this phone fixed?
ps-the phone works well, just that the screen
doesn't come out bcause its not connected to
the phone .... btw sorry for the bad explanation. don't
know how else to describe it.

Howdy Echo,
Sorry to hear about your phone, if you didn't have insurance on the phone, your ONLY options are:
Buy a new one
Buy a used one (ebay or craig's list too good places)
Buy one of your carriers refurbished perpaid versions of that phone
Buy the parts to fix it and fix it yourself
Check your local phone book or local papers for ads for people that fix cell phones and small electronics. (Craig's List is also a good source for this)
"www.craigslist.org" find the city or town you are in or closest to, and check under forsale/wanted for Cell phone repair.Last edited by BlkBear; 05-27-2006 at 10:36 AM.

If you're willing to try and fix the Razr yourself try CNN.CN, you can buy your parts there.

I would have to say for MOST people repairing that specific phone would be a task in it's self, I recently tried to diassemble this phone without all the proper tools and did not succeed only after spending an additional 25 30 dollars was I able to get it completly taken apart so I could add a powder coat to it. (Looks really nice by the way)
