A couple RAZR Problems

I just got the RAZR and i can get the mainscreen wallpaper to change...just the not front screen.. i can not figure it out..does anyone know how i would go about doing that if so thank you......Other problem i have is that my Ringtone keeps changing for no reason... i have it set on a downloaded ringtone and fora while it uses that and then it changes...any body know why..


PS: My plan is through Cingular.. if that helps

I believe ya have to do a seem to change the standard pic in the lil screen.

I think the front screen is called external wallpaper; its a java app u have to upload with webjal. the ringer thing...never heard of such

If it's a V3c or M it will display the verizon orange and red lil pic. With a seem edit it will diplsy whatever inside wallpaer you have.

keep in mind that with the Cingular Razr if you change your skin after you set your wallpaper it will use the skin's default wallpaper, so you'll have to go back and change it to the one you want to use..
as far as ringers go, if you move the side key to "soft" or "loud" it will use different ringtones unless you set them all to use the same one.

hmm... i don't know, i used MPT and transferred an image from my computer over to my phone, and set that as my background, and it automatically put it on the front screen, too... the proportions are different, but it just resized it and cropped it to fit, i didn't do anything with it... i have T-Mobile, so the firmware on the phone could be a little different... sorry, i can't help you..
