My v3 Razr fell in water

My v3 Razr fell in water. Its coming on and all the speakers are working but it won't charge from this phone but the battery is still good. when it comes on it says insert sim . My service provider refuses to repair it . I need some advice please. I miss my phone.

water damage won't be repaired by your service provider. did you have insurance out on the phone? it not, sorry buddy... but you'll have to buy a new phone (most likely full price, unless you find something online) and i suggest insurance in the future.

Since you were not able to take it apart and dry it out because you turned it on, you can bring it in to a service center and have it cleaned. That might help out. Otherwise if the phone is still having problems, buy another phone that has a cracked screen on it. You can use your current one for parts and replace the cracked screen with the one on your original phone.
