I have ordered a razr, but it is not here yet. the owner told me that he had paied someone to unlock it to work with t-mobile when it was locked to cingular. Does this mean that it has been unlocked to work with any GSM service provider or could it have been only unlocked to work with t-mobile. Also can Rogers do something to there sim so that they cannot be used in any unlocked phone no matter what O do to it. Thank you for your patience

Huh?...like paul pointed out, unlocked phones work can work on any GSM service. Otherwise, your Samsung might not actually be unlocked. Did you have it unlocked yourself? Or did someone else do it for you? Also, when you had it unlocked, did you test it out immediately just to confirm?

I had it sent out to be unlocked, What do you mean if I tested immediatly, would it have been different if I stuck my sim in right away?
