Re: Slvr Vs Razr
That's easy the slvr, hands down better then the V3, unless you want a flip phone w/out itunes and absolutly hate candybar phones the L7 has more mem, can be used as a removable starage device, and on top of that your getting a mp3 player for the cost of a kick a$$ phone (which it is). A year and a half ago the V3 had no compatition, now (even though it's from the same company) you can do leaps and bounds better then just a regular old "V3"

Re: Slvr Vs Razr
my take;
Slvr L7.
Razr, design is flawed...it's too wide for the average persons hand, and as such UNLESS you use BT constantly, it's annoying to hold.
L7 expandable memory, beautiful "weight" factor form and feel.
done.

Re: Slvr Vs Razr
I have both, and although I like my slvr, I think I like the razr more.
1. Flip phone so key pad dont get messed up with your car keys and change in your pocket.
2. Most bugs in razr sofware have been fixed and there is a fairly good knowledgbase on how to update, hack, modify the phone and its software.
3. L7 software or hardware is having bugs. I am having the problem where if I switch on the phone after it was off for a few hours, all calls go to voicemail and phone does not ring. If I switch it off an back on, it works ok. So now I am living with never switching it off or if I do, then make a call to see if it goes to voicemail.
4. Flip cover gives extra protection against small qty of water/liquid getting into the phone.
5. If you want a MP3 player, get a nice one. The quality of any phone mp3 does not even come close to the most basic mp3 players. And you cannot use BT with the mp3 player. I think max storage is 512, so that is way too less anyway and it is all taken up with ring tones and and screens and pictures.

Re: Slvr Vs Razr
The max storage as of right now is 1 gig but that's just because they don't have a 2 gig micro sd card yet, you can add the 1 gig but your song limit won't go up unless you hack it (which is fairly easy)

Re: Slvr Vs Razr
It is more fair to compare the L7 with the newer RAZR V3i, which has the SD slot, mp3 player, etc. It also has a megapixel cam vs the L7's VGA
The L7 does have the looks and style, but the RAZR's flip ability is more practical. The keypad and screen are much larger than that of the L7 (even though their res is the same (I think)), but the overall package is about the same size.

Re: Slvr Vs Razr
Interesting....I guess the best bet would be to just stock up on those screen/keypad protectors.
