I accidentally dropped my razr in the toilet last week. I have insurance and I got a new phone sent out to me. I transferred the SIM card and my new phone worked fine right away - my first question is, if I take my old phone to a Cingular store, will they be able to get any data off of it like numbers that were saved to just the phone and pictures that I had saved? My second question is - on the new phone they sent me, when it's opened, above the screen, directly above the MOTOROLA writing, there's a little dot with the Motorola logo - on my old phone it was black, but on my new phone it's blue - does that mean this is a different model or something?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: 2 questions about my razr
The blue over the logo is a protective sticker that can be pealed off.

Re: 2 questions about my razr
I don't think Cingular can do it. But when you take it to an special electronic repair store, maybe you should try to ask them.

Re: 2 questions about my razr
Ok, thanks. By special electronics store, do you mean like a mom and pop place or do you have an example of a chain name?

Re: 2 questions about my razr
Some of them are, but I've found on my phone that the speed dial numbers are 4 digits and you can't assign a ringer id or picture on a number that's stored to a SIM card. I think I've found a solution though - it looks like you can sync a phone with your address book using isync on a mac.

Re: 2 questions about my razr
Does the phone still switch on? If yes, then maybe you can use MPT to pull your numbers from it.
