You probably cracked the flex cable that runs between the main part of the phone and the screen. I won't say for sure that that's what happened, as it is impossible to diagnose a problem that is not directly in front of me. However, if you did in fact break the cable, you will need to take the phone apart to replace it. You will need a T5 and possibly a T6 screwdriver to take the phone apart. You can find replacement cables at cnn.cn. Hope that helps.

check to see if the flex cable is connected and also that is not cracked or cut, damaged.

You can order a cable from cnn.cn. Sounds like you found the right tools to open the phone. I had to order mine from a hardware distributor from work, but you can also find them at Sears or poossibly Radio Shack.

All you need is a 5 torx screwdriver which you can also order from Cellular NationWide Network
