Smileys in text messages for V3i??

Is there a way to get smileys into text messages using the Razr v3i, other than doing the : then ) or whatever? Something to download??

Text messages ... well ... only use text.

You can create an MMS message and send that using pics. But a basic text message only sends text.

That stinks. My old Sony Erickson allowed the generic smileys- they were in with the generic symbols suchs as # & * as an option. Thanks

Yeah this is no prob, when doing an sms text hit the top centre key and go to insert, scroll down to picture and select it. You should then have a list of still cartoons and also moving animations with a lil man and wot appears to be a koala bear. Good luck

All I have in the picture option under insert is a bunch of animations with the dumb looking guy. No regular smileys.

Yeah, that is the 'smileys' on the V3i. They're not like these things
