Hi all. Sorry for all the questions, but please bear with me.
I am interested in purchasing the Motorola RAZR V3 in the color pink
as a prepaid phone. I went to the Cingular website, as well as
several other wireless websites that have this phone, and it seems
like you cannot get this particular color of phone as a "pay as you
go". However it seems you can get the phone in either black or silver
this way. With the pink phone, you would still have to sign up for a
monthly fee "pick the plan" (not the same as an annual contract but
with a monthly fee). I went to Walmart's website and they have the pink
phone as a prepaid phone. So my question is, after that long
narration, does this mean that since it is called "prepaid" that I
would use the minute refill cards as you do a true "pay as you go"
phone? Basically I want the pink Motorola RAZR V3 and I am trying to
    avoid contracts/monthly bills.

Secondly, what happens during activation of the prepaid cingular "go phone" ? When you purchase the refill cards, does that include the minutes or just service time? For example, if I would purchase the refill card for $100 that gives you a years' worth of service, would that also
include 400 minutes of airtime as well, if I went with the second
option of 25 cents/minute? I am only used to tracfones' service/
phones. Is this Cingular service basically the same thing? Thanks.
    I appreciate everyones' help!

Bingo. I've not gone to the Walmart site but if they are advertising a pink phone with "Pay as You Go" service, that's what that means.

Includes minutes for a prescribed amount of time. Usually 30 days. So to use your example, if you were to purchase a $100 card, you would get a prescribed amount of minutes that would expire after 30 days whether or not you actually used them.

You might want to look into T-Mobile's prepaid service. Their terms are much more generous than AT&T's.

Does your site cure the common cold too? LOL. You're spamming 1/2 the posts on CPF with advertising for your site.
