MotoRAZR V3.. Silver buttons on the side won't respond

Hey guys.

I just got this phone a friend, and he only used it for about a week or so before he got a new one. At any rate, there were no problems with it.

When I put my SIM card in it, everything seemed to work great at first.

However, the three silver buttons (two on the left, one on the right) don't work AT ALL.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just got a V3xx yesterday and noticed there's a button that locks external buttons from being used. You may want to check and see if it was activated on your phone.

Could you tell me what button that is, if you know? I've tried the asterisk and pound keys. As well as reading the manual thoroughly.. and searching the phone like a madman.

I just checked to make sure. Its the smaller, external, button on the left. When I press it down and hold it the external keys are locked. After pressing and holding it a 2nd time, the keys are unlocked.

Just tried it.. didn't work. I suppose this means it's a problem with the phone.
