unlocked V3T not accessing internet

i bought a Rogers V3T and unlocked it.
i can't access any internet.

why? how can i get it?

i used to have a samsung phone that i bought and it was already unlocked. i could use it with any phone company and in foreign countries but i couldnt use the internet on it because it wasnt an american phone it was made in asia or europe. anyways i contacted at&t(the company i was with at the time) they said they dont know why. so they told me to call samsung and they told me they dont know what phone i have it wasnt on their list.

but if you bought it and unlocked it yourself you should call your phone company first and if you cant find anything then call motorola and ask them. but alot of unlocked phones can't use the internet which sucks cause you wont be ale to download ringtones unless you have a memory card.
