autosignature?

I want to make is so that with each text message I send, an "autosignature" is at the end of it.

When I read a text message I got, I can the middle buttom on my phone and get to a screen that says "message menu". If I scroll all the way down on that, it says "setup". When I click that, then click "MMS Messages Setup", there's an option of putting an "autosignature". The term "autosignature" seems pretty slef-explanitory; I thought it meant having a signature appear after every text message. However, the messages I send have no autosignature even though I typed one in where it said, "Autosignature". I'm very confused and frustrated. Can someone help?
