Fixing old Razr?

Hey guys.........I had a Razr V3a with Alltel. The battery got wet and wouldn't stay charged, and the back door never stayed locked and it always fell off. So, I went and bought an Alltel Hue phone which I really don't like. I still have my old Razr, and I was wondering if I could just go on ebay and get a new battery for it, and replace the door, and be able to reactivate it and use it again? I'm worried if I replace the door, it will still fall off, but surely it won't with a new door right? I really like the razr, and if I can fix it, I'd like to. Any help?

Also, the "select" button the keypad came off, so could I also get an entire new keypad to put on my old razr? They have a lot of cheap ones on ebay and I figured it would be easy to fix it?
