I have asked Motorola support what is the largest SD Micro card that can be used in my RAZR V3xx. They say it was tested with the largest card at the time--2 GB and cannot make claims about the 4 GB or 8 GB cards now available. Does anyone have knowledge about success or failure using the 4 or 8 GB cards? I want to get the largest it will use. Thanks. Paul.

Paul, I'm not sure if the V3xx holds a larger size than the 2GB card or not. I had the 2GB card in my V3xx using S/W Version :R26111MLD-AS_U_96.BO.OAR, and didn't have a problem with it.
Maybe someone else on here who still has one can comment on the largest size that they are using with it now.

Where is the phone orginally from? Verizon, Sprint, etc. Depending where it's from, will determine the answer.

If you have AT&T as your current wireless carrier,and have been with them for more than 90 days, you can call CS, or email them to request an unlock code for your phone.....If you are with T-Mobile now, you can google "V3xx unlock code" to bring up a list of sites that can get the code for you for a small fee.

I'm actually interested in an answer to the OP's question as well. To restate, what is the largest microSD card that a V3xx can hold? I'd certainly like to know before paying 2x as much for a 4GB card

2GB is the maximum memory card size for the V3xx.
