Hi - new member here. I have had my V3m charcoal color razr for about a year. I hate it. The battery life sucks and has always sucked. Dies in less than 20 hours. I am looking to buy an extra battery until my contract is up and can get new phone. SHould I just buy the regular br56 batttery that it came with or try the extended battery and new back cover? I tried to ask motorola and sprint how much extra time the extended life battery gave you but no one could tell me. Any help here???? Is extended life battery worth it? Or just buy extra regular one and keep in my purse?

Now about the v3..if you can..I mean..only if you can..GeT RiD Of ThE RaZr. If you buy an extended batt, it will look crappy. V3 is slow too when your just browsing your phone compared to other models.Since you pretty much qualify for an upgrade, take advantage of the $150 off the retail price of another phone.

That's the problem. I don't qualify for an upgrade! I can't even get the $150 off and upgrade until October. I am with sprint and got my phone in Dec 2006. I called and I can only get $75 off full retail. In oct I can get full upgrade... which i will do. I hate the razr and will never get one again. But until I do just need an extra battery.

what are the top 2 or 3 sprint phones you want to get? lets forget about the price for right now.

I want a LG rumor or treo. Basically I want a new phone that has a texting keyboard ( i am so slow at texting) with a very good battery life. I don't do internet, though if I had a palm maybe i would. I am a basic person who just wants to text and call people. Don't even use camera.

I hate my razr too! I'm switching to verizon and getting the voyager. I have had my razr for awhile and ever since I bought it the batt. life SUCKED. Mine dies in less than 12 hours. I can't do anything without losing batt. life quickly. I bought an extended batt and it was even worse than the original batt. Weird yes? I agree with the other person. Get rid of the razr ASAP! Very bad phone.

the razr v3c is a good phone i have over 400 hrs on mind and no trouble with it.i am sorry that you are having trouble could it be the sprint software that is loaded on the phone ?
