v3xx possible battery problem??

My v3xx is acting weird. The charge only lasts about 1 day before it starts beeping for a low battery. When I plug the charger in it only starts charging about 50% of the time. So half the time I plug it in nothing happens. If I open the back of the case where the battery is and take the battery out, reinstall it it'll charge instantly. Another thing it does is sometimes when I'm done charging it, it will give a double beep and the display lights up. It'll do it until I take out the battery again and reinstall. Anyone else have problems like this or a possible solution?

I've got a brand new Razr V3m and it's only been lasting a day on a charge. I noticed that it would be warm when I'd take it out of the holster too. After some research, I discovered that it will start scanning for an alternate carrier whenever it gets out of range from it's home carrier. I work in an area where you pretty much have to go outside to make a call, so it's going to be prone to scan for carriers regardless. In order to get it to stop scanning, I went into settings and changed the "Roaming" from Automatic to my carrier (Sprint in my case). So far my Razr hasn't gotten warm.

I've been doing a lot of searching around and I keep seeing problems on the older razr phones having charging/battery problems. Not much (at least that I found) of the v3xx having these problems. I'm just so sick of this phone! I'm going to just buy a new battery and if it doesn't fix it I'm probably just going to take it outside and drive over it in my car.
