I'm not sure if I need to be posting this here or in the T-mobile folder honestly. My husband and I are with AT&T/Cingular. We both have RAZR V3, and use MPT for ringtones and such. My darling husband, in all his wisdom decided to sync my friend's V3 to the computer as well, so she could use MPT, not problem right? Well she's with T-mobile, which might as well be a freaking virus as far as I am concerned. Now every time I open Firefox, I get this silly pop up box "Connect T-Mobile". I can't make it go away. I deleted her profile from MPT. I did a scan of the computer for anything with "T-mobile" in the file name. I can't make this thing GO AWAY. It seems as if it's trying to use her phone as a modem every time I try and open an internet connection. I can't make the thing go away.
Any suggestions?

Are the options in Firefox still set to your old home page? Also try clearing the cache in Firefox.

Have you tried running Ad-Aware or Spybot Search&Destroy?

On firefox, check in Tools>Options>Applications and see if there is anything related to Tmobile in there.

Re: Help with Motorola Phone Tools and RAZR V3
guys... lol. you are ALL wrong. the internet options is looking to try and dial a connection since there is not a dial connection currently available (even though there is a LAN connection.)
to fix Firefox:
1. go to tools -> options -> advanced tab -> network sub tab
2. make appropriate changes
to fix IE (and everything else that shares the same connection settings)
1. go to control panel (switch to classic view)
2. go to internet options
3. go to connections tab
4a) set option to "never dial a connection"
4b) remove all dial services if you don't need them in the list
to clear the dial connection from network properties:
1. right click the "my network places icon"
2. click on properties in the context menu
3. select the modem device and either disable or delete it permanently
it shouldn't be doing this though unless someone has attempted to create a dial connection through the phone in the first place.
