Ve20 ring tone help

I have a Alltel ve20 and I am trying to put a few ring tones on it for my wife. I have MPT 5.05 and it does not find the phone and I can't use the live update, I don't know if it has to do with my dial up internet or what.

I installed a 2g microsd card and connected with a cable and that didn't help. I downloaded p2k commander can't figure it out. I don't know what else to do.
