SIM cards do not dictate how much you pay for a phone or a plan. A
SIM is a card in the phone that stores information like the telephone number and your contacts list. How much you pay for the phone and your airtime depends on how your account is set up and what price plan you are on. It really has nothing to do with the
SIM card.
If you want a better rate on your plan, call the phone company and ask them if they have any better plans. Or, call a rival company, tell them what you are paying at your current company, and ask them if they can do any better for you.
