I just purchased a new Razr V3 to replace my cracked lens Razr V3s. I thought all V3's were the same until I charged this up and got my first call and could BARELY HEAR the voice on the other end despite the volume being at the max ("7"). That, coupled with only 10 "received" and "dialed" call logs (I make reference to received and dialed calls all the time as I use my phone for business) caused me to put the thing on the market immediately for resale.

Does anyone have an opinion as to the Motorola W490 as an upgrade to the V3? Is it reliable? Have good incoming volume and can store more than 10 received and sent calls? I like the style, shape and size of the V3 and really would like something similar. I only use my phone for calls and an occasional picture (very occasionally and only in a situation where I don't have my digital camera, which is rare). They seem to be similarly priced.

BTW: I am with T-Mobile. Thanks in advance for your responses. If you have a better recommendation, please let me know.

    Re: Replacement for RAZR-V3

I've also wondered about a replacement for my RAZR. I really like it with the metal case vs. plastic of many other models. It just feels to good to get rid of unless there's a really good one to follow. I hate the Blackberry with the keys so small that my big hands have trouble working them. Oh well....
