Finally realized that I need to be using a headset (new law into effect on October 1) so I got a wonderful headset and plugged it into the USB to 2.5 mm adapter than came with the RAZR -- and doing that initiates a continuous loop of the voice dial feature.

About every 5-7 seconds it beeps and says "Say a command." If I clear it using CLR or the red button, it returns to the home screen and then does it again. It will also abort any incoming call and send it to voice mail. I can, if I'm fast enough make outgoing calls.

I've poured through the book but nothing is helpful -- and I've even taken it in to the store, but since it's an "antique" none of the techs have any idea.

Any and all help will be appreciated.
