Yes, it supports Midi files. and MP3.
and yes it's worth the wait.
My wife and I got ours last week and we're very happy with them.
This week I got the datacable and had a lot of fun with it!
If you can get one: do it!
Great thing about the V600:
- Sound quality: very clear, no creacks etc.
- Picture quality: very good for such a small lens; better than webcam quality!
Drawbacks of the V600:
- SMS memory: too small, you can store about 12 - 16 messages
- The crome edge on the lid will crack in about a day or so.
possibly a manufacturing fault.
- Accesoires are still hard to get. (so are the phones . . .)

After 12 messages I get a memory warning.
A Bluetooth dongle does about €50.- overhere so I bought the cable for €15.-
Crazy prices yes? How about a Bluetooth headset for €80 to €180.-!
A word on MP3:
Keep them short, max 22500Khz and max 64 Kbps or else error message.

on mp3's the V600 and V400 can take a file largr than 100k...have done it plenty of times with no error messages....i believe you get about 5Mb of storage space for mp3's, pictures, videos, etc....
