V600 Caller ID Lights

Hi! Just joined today!!! I have a Moto V600 and am having problems with the caller ID lights function. Currently it flashes red each time a call comes through but i want to tailor it to identify different calls. I have read my user manual but i cannot access the menu i need. What is going on? Is my phone software faulty??

Hey bud you cant customize the lights per caller only for calls in general and that is in the setup menu but if you figure out a way let me know

setting up the lights is really easy.

You cant set lights per person in the phone book, but you can make a new catagory and you can set the lights by catagories.

For instance my GF name is lauren, so i just made a catagory "Lauren" set the lights to purple, and in the phone book i put her in the "lauren" catagory so when she calls me it rings purple... i know its a long way around, but it works.

your contacts have to saved to phone & not sim then the option for lights becomes available. hope this helps

yeah lack hand is right about it. i don't think you can personal the lights for just one person. the person(s) need to be put on a particular caller group first, then that is where you can change the lights. hope that helps, eitherwise i am willing to trade my v400 for your phone! hahahaha joking.
