I Need Free Mob PhoTools 2.0 Too
I also would like to find a free download for the Motorola "Mobile PhoneTools ver 2.0" also. I checked out the Vstuff site and about an hour on Google but didn't find anything except the ones that want money. Anybody else got ideas where I might be able to save me about 30 bucks to add some ringtones or games to the son's phone? He can't get web service with the company he and the wife signed up for service so data cable is the only option.
Any help will be apprecialed.
Thanks, Hornetman

Mobile Phone Tools 3.07 is at www.vstuff.co.uk - you have to register to get to it, then click "essential files".
To transfer games you'll need Midway, also available at www.vstuff.co.uk

Got it But More HELP Needed
Thanks for explaining to me exactly how to get to the links to download the Mobile PhonTools and some of the other programs that look like they might be helpful in adding some accessories to the sons V60 phone. However I have now run into a new problem. How or what program do I need to open the ".rar" file extensions that are associated with a few to the programs that I downloaded at the VStuff website. Sorry to be a pest but your assistance would be appreciated.
Sincerely, Hornetman
Disregard this post, the part about needing help with the ".rar" file extension, I got WinRar and opened the files,
Thanks again for the tips.Last edited by hornetman; 09-05-2004 at 07:09 PM.

hi,
try this site, it's in spanish, but the link is in english, so that should be fine. i've never used this program, but i've used other programs on the site and they've worked fine.

I figured out how to do this...
The version in the above link crashes when you try to install it. Here's how to get the newest version. Download the program using the link supplied above. Do not install it yet.
Go to: http://www.bvrp.com/customers/motorola/upgrade/US/
and download the upgrade. Do not install this yet either.
Install the first download. When the error pops up, use Task Manager to dump the program. Do not click OK from the Setup Program. This will make the program remove traces of the installation. However, if you use the Task Manager, the non-working version of the program will be left on the computer.
After setup is shut down, run the update from BVRP. This program will recognize the existing installation and proceed with the upgrade. DONE!
I hope it works for for you guys as it did for me....
