T720 Problem - Phone Shuts off?

Hello there,

I have been having an issue with my t720 lately. It powers up fine when I push the power button, but it shuts off randomly or goes to a black screen when I flip it close?

For example, once the phone is on and the phone is open, everything works fine, it looks good. But when I close the flip phone it either shuts off completely or I see a black screen. In order to get my phone back I have to push the "red power button" again.

Does anyone know what may be causing this problem and how I can get it fixed?

can somebody help please?

I had that problem with my T720 with Verizon and they had to update my software version and it corrected the problem.

i had the same problem...i just went to verizon and they gave me a different phone. dayam i hated that phone..

The t720i has a software problem if you have the unit less than a year try to get the software flash from your provider if not sent it to Moto for them to flash it for you
