Just find the mobile phone tools software somehwere, I was lucky and found an old version on kazaa and then used the upgrade from motorola website and it works fine. I edit songs using a different program I have then i just upload the mp3 into the audio folder and theres my ringtone, sounds damn good to!

1. Find old version of mobile phone tools on kazaa i think i found 1.8 or something
2. download the update from motorola
3. now thats updated to the newest version so leave it alone for now
4. get a usb cable for your phone plug it in, let windows install the drivers which it automatically does.
5. then plug in your phone
6. start up mobile phone tools.
7.(optional) Edit the .mp3 file to be smaller and lesser quality because the phone speaker is kinda small so cd quality sound does not matter im guessing anything under 100 is good and small for ya. Export it as .mp3 your phone can read it just fine.
8. Now in mobile phone tools it should load just use default profile it should appear as your phone and then there should be icons on the right that once it connects they should all be clickable.
9. Click the one thats called Multimedia studio, there is like a bell and old paintbrush thing.
10. Under that click audio folder then find your .mp3 on left side right click on it, hit transfer.
11. go under ring detail and set it as ring tone.
12. woohoo free ringtones!
